Designer Colour Stylist

Sande Bamford has always had a passion for fashion & colour.  She has worked in fashion and interior decoration. As a Designer Colour Stylist, Sande helps people enhance their natural beauty and surroundings through the stylish use of colour.

Sande was a Certificate in Dress Design Awards Student at Queensland College of Art.  As a third year student she took on the role of wardrobe mistress for Brisbane Arts Theatre, creating costumes for many varied productions. Her first assignment was in Tudor style for 'A Man For All Seasons' followed by a 1950's production!

After a period as assistant designer for a Brisbane fashion house, Sande moved into a retail position with a bridal design store. She designed window displays for their Queen Street store. Sande soon progressed to managing their Townsville store, enjoying the challenges of seasonal fabric selection and a busy bridal workroom.

Following a year travelling overseas, Sande returned to Sydney where she expanded her passion for colour by training in personal colour analysis. Later she went on to train colour consultants and the public about how to enhance their own natural beauty by working with their God-given assets.

Sande's colour & design skills have happily transferred to Interior Design in recent years. In 2004 she took the opportunity to participate in a summer school at the Paris American Academy followed by a study tour through Rome & Tuscany.

She is an active member of The Colour Society of Australia, holding the position of Treasurer for QLD Division. Sande lives and works on Queensland's beautiful Gold Coast.
